"You've time traveled," Clark said immediately, not wanting to get the man even more riled up. "Across universes. You've time traveled across universes." Clark put up a hand, stopping the man before he could speak again. "I know it sounds crazy, but it's true. You're not the only one here who has. There's a broken seal - it's a magical...thing, I'm actually not entirely sure what it is, to be honest with you - and it's been dragging people in from all over the place. Through time, through dimensions - everywhere." Clark knew that the man wasn't going to like this. Judging from his confusion in regards to such a simple thing as a cellphone, Clark didn't think that he'd take time traveling into another dimension much better. "I can't send you back. No one here can so far. But, if you're willing to come with me, I can take you back to our apartment building. We've got it set up for people just like you, who have no place to go and no idea on what to do."
Clark reached into his pocket. He pulled out a pen and a tiny pocket notepad (being a journalist, he had to have that kind of stuff on him at all times) and scribbled down the URL for the boards. "Of course, you might just decide to walk away and dub me as a crazy person and I kinda get that." Clark smiled a little. "You wouldn't be the first to have done so, believe me. So why don't you take this -" Clark tore the paper out and extended it to him. "- if you don't want to come with me. It has our boards marked down. Tons of people in your situation use it on a regular basis. You'll find people there to talk to about this. People who can help you get settled in."
Clark would have been more than happy to do the job for them, but he needed to be sure that the address was in the man's hand first. If he didn't take to Clark so well, at least he'd have a back-up solution.
