“It started out as your average sleepy little southern town. No vampires that I know of. Then a lady vampire with a big agenda moved into town and changed everything.” Suddenly he was aware that he was smiling. The moment he became aware of the expression he wiped it off of his face. He scolded himself for smiling at a memory of Katherine, the lady vamp he had just mentioned. He had done so much for her and she’d just skipped town. Though he’d never own up to it, it had hurt him a great deal.
“I’ve been to the west coast a few times, actually. Eternity is no fun if you spend it rooted in one place.” He smirked a little.
