"And you're Damon," Buffy replied. She almost wanted to laugh at his question. Normal world? Boy was he in for a shock.
"Oh you know, nothing to exciting. I go to school, I go out, I date the wrong guy, I slay vampires," she shrugged. "Nothing to exciting."
It was funny. Openly admitting to being a slayer. She was so used to hiding it from people, knowing they'd think she was crazy. Her parents had thought she was crazy after all, sending her off to a mental hospital - and that had not been fun. Even there she hadn't been able to escape demons. She was like a magnet for them.
She saw no reason not to say she was a slayer, it seemed like everyone here knew - better to hear it from her than someone else right? Besides, despite the weird vibe she was still getting from him, she didn't think she'd have a reason to fear him - he was in the complex after all, and the complex was good guys right?
