Buffy swallowed the last of her English Muffin, and smiled at Booth in thanks for the food. This was still going to take getting used to, all of it, and Buffy wasn't one hundred percent sure she wanted to. Then again it didn't seem like she had a choice.
"Sounds like you got your work cut out for you," Buffy nodded. Buffy didn't envy him, dealing with vampires and demons was bad enough, she wouldn't want to deal with the human side of things too. And sometimes it seemed like humans were a lot worse than vampires were. At least vampires had the excuse of not having a soul, the fact that someone with a soul could be cruel...bad.
"A part of me wants to know about her," Buffy admitted. "But at the same time, the other part? Wants to pretend she was never here, but I have a feeling some people here won't let that happen."
Buffy couldn't help but think of Dawn. She hadn't even met the girl yet. Buffy really did feel bad. She felt bad for almost everyone who knew her...the other her.
The other her. It sounded like a bad movie. A really bad movie.
