He smirked slightly and nodded. "It happens. We've got people from all different times. Some from the past, others from the distant future, and some from the far off future. It gets rather confusing at times.." He admitted. Keeping track of the different time zones wasn't his cup of tea, but he assumed Andrew knew what to do with it. The sci-fi geek thing was his territory, though admittedly at one point he did remember having a momentary geek experience when Wolverine showed up...But come on, it was Wolverine. "Nah, just an annoyance really."
Booth was glad she was eating, it would help. Time and universe travel took a toll, and without eating it would only be harder.
"Both. Actually." A year ago he couldn't state that with nearly the level of cool he was displaying infront of the young slayer. He would have potentially panicked a lot more. Made an irrational idiot out of himself. But now it was like yesterdays news. He worked on normal cases as well as the supernatural, he also kept the complex from being discovered many times. The FBI wasn't as dumb as people thought, when they got a scent of things, they could follow a lead even if it lead them to the unexplainable. Booth had to often times lead them in the wrong direction. Which at times he felt bad for. Young promising agents mostly, they had the correct lead, but Booth had no choice except to lead them off their trail.
"Don't worry about it. As complicated as it sounds, you and she are different people."
