Angel? Normally that name would have received an insult. It nearly did except for the fact that he realized it came from a girls voice. Not the blond vampire he loved to hate. There were eggs frying on the stove when he turned to face the blond petite thing just a few paces away. She was familiar. She looked familiar, save for her even shorter stature and younger features. Booth was able to piece it together pretty easily. It didn't take rocket science. "Buffy?" She was different, but the same. In a normal scenario that would have made very little sense. But in Kansas it happened all the time.
"Sorry, no. Booth. Say it with me. Booth. Not Angel, not a vampire." He stated trying to get her right off the bat to understand. It was probably going to be hard for her. Older!Buffy hadn't wanted to accept it. So how could younger version two possibly deal with it? He looked exactly like Angel, save a little older and more world wise. He gave her a sympathetic look and turned back to his eggs for a minute in attempt to let her process things.
Kansas threw people. He understood it, so he tried not to bombard her with information. "You hungry?"
