Buffy's head hadn't stopped spinning since she arrived. There was the fact there had been an older her there, and that everyone seemed to know that Buffy (which was her, but at the same time it wasn't...?), and then there was the fact that almost everyone she knew was older than her, Anya and Spike were good (and Anya wasn't a demon), and she had a sister. A sister. It was like a weird dream. A very weird, very realistic, dream. Buffy wasn't sure if she liked it.
She hadn't slept much since arriving here either. She wasn't sure what to even think about all of this. The her that had been here before was a leader, was she expected to be the same? The her that had been here before was older, she was seventeen, seventeen! She hadn't even finished high school, she was no leader! The other Buffy was probably a lot stronger, and smarter and who knows what else. She knew nothing about the other her, asides from the fact that that wasn't her.
No, she told herself, stop thinking about it. Just be normal, and pretend you're the only you...which you are? Buffy sighed and got out of bed. She had been in her room, staring up at the ceiling for the longest time. Maybe food would help?
She got up and headed down to the kitchen. She did have a few Oreos left from the box Dick had left for her, but she wanted something more substantial right now. Besides, the way things were going she'd be done the box by the end of the day.
She too one step into the kitchen and froze. Her heart stopped and her stomach went into a knot.
