Damon's in town Who: Damon and OPEN! What: Arriving in Lawrence, possibly starting some trouble Where: Downtown Lawrence When: After dark
Damon was somewhere between exhaustion and cloud nine. The events of the recent past had more than drained him of his usual joie de vivre. He had almost died and would have without Bonnie’s witchy intervention. It was enough to leave a person, or vampire, shaken to the core. The kiss he’d shared with Elena, though, gave him a sufficient pick-me-up. It would undoubtably complicate his life, but he wouldn’t mind paying the price one bit.
He was walking in the darkness back to the Salvatore boarding house when he noticed that he wasn’t where he had thought he was. The buildings that lined the street were different and the ambience was significantly more urban than that of the sleepy town of Mystic Falls. Damon froze in his tracks, eyeing his surroundings. This was a completely different place and he didn’t know how he had gotten there.
“Miss,” He approached a stranger, trying to look as non-threatening as was possible for a tall, dark vampire. “What town is this?” The corners of his mouth tugged into what was meant to be a charming smile. The young woman looked confused, as if Damon had asked something truly bizarre, but answered politely. “Lawrence.” She forced a small smile onto her face and walked away.
Damon stuffed his hands into his pockets and shook his head. He was fairly sure that there wasn’t a Lawrence near to Mystic Falls, Virginia. This was all proving to be very puzzling.
