Who: Sam and John
What: John wants to talk and his truck is the perfect excuse.
When: Tonight
Where: Complex then the address Sam gave him.
Warnings: tba, winchesters are unpredictable. ;D.
John was tired of the fighting and even more so of the silence between him and Sam. As much as he hated to admit it (and never would aloud) Ruby had some points when it came down to it. So just as he said he would he waited outside the complex. His arms folded uncomfortably, He wanted his stuff back. Most important though was his truck. Assuming no one had broken into it or discovered the trunk he was pretty sure most of his supplies were still in it. It was loaded with everything from Holy water to silver and everything between. John looked up at the sky while he waited for Sam to show. His family was whole for the first time in years, but divided. It broke a tiny part of him inside. What he wanted most was for Sam to go back to school and do what he wanted. For Dean to have a place to call home, Adam to live a normal life. He knew it was an impossible dream. Or the closest thing to it anyway. Then there was Mary. She was his save point. His sanity might have snapped on arrival had it not been for her being alive and still loving him after every wrong move he made, she hadn't turned him away.
He made the excuse of wanting his truck back, but it was more then that. He wanted a minute alone with Sam, so he made it an order. Part of him half expected Sam to refuse considering his less then pleased attitude toward his military style last time they argued. Sometimes John didn't even know why they were arguing when they did. This time though there was no mistaking it, and it wasn't going to be an easy fix. Sam was dating a demon. He was coming off of demon blood. if only I knew earlier He caught himself thinking and sighed in frustration, running a hand through his dark hair. Then what? grab Sam by the collar and tell him no like a bad puppy? He wasn't a kid anymore. It was just hard for John to realize that sometimes. He had issues letting go. It didn't look like it, but when Sam went off to college his anger was pain. His son had walked out on them in his eyes when he and Dean needed him the most.
The air was warm, but it didn't put him at ease. Waiting for the apocalypse to hit didn't help his frayed nerves either. Then there was Adam, and all the family issues he needed to fix ontop of that. It was overwhelming even for him. Even still he didn't show it on his face. It was like he hadn't even lost a step, save for the poor computer he punched out. His hand was still wrapped from that little display.
