Who: Stephanie Brown and Ron Weasley What: Stephanie has a big mouth. It causes flailing sometimes. Stupid internal monologue problems. When: Backdated to the afternoon of May 3nd. Where: On the ship they're on! Where there aren't many places to hide. Warnings: Cuteness and sap.
So far Stephanie was having a blast on the cruise. And she was pretty sure Ron was, too. They'd gotten to do all kinds of things like being touristy on islands they'd never been to before. Oh, and Steph saving Ron from a stray spider or three. His reactions always amused her, even though they probably shouldn't.
But, the cruise was coming to a close soon. They were spending the full day sailing back to the US so they could dock and head home on the fifth. Hey, at least they had one more day at sea, plus another day on land before heading back to Lawrence.
She had decided that she was a big fan of going on cruises since they left. There was plenty of stuff to do on board that she had yet to get, well, bored, even when they didn't have a stop that day. Pools, rock climbing walls, a sort-of-club place, an all day breakfast buffet complete with waffles. You could even get them to make fresh ones for you with berries or chocolate chips cooked into them. It was safe to say that Stephanie had gotten the fresh ones pretty freaking often, and the ones that were left sitting there were never there long enough to actually get old, so those made pretty great snacks from time to time.
Both of them had slept in, which really wasn't any sort of shocker in the slightest. Then a little while after getting "breakfast" (it really doesn't need to be said what Stephanie had, does it?) the two spent a couple hours hanging out at the on deck pool. It was still afternoon when the two went back to the suite they shared to get all dried off, ready to find something else to do. Or maybe just poke around on the internet.
"I think that from now on I'm going to enter every cruise giveaway I come across," Stephanie said cheerfully as she stepped out of the little bathroom, rubbing a towel through her hair to try and dry it out some more. "Because this is pretty much awesome." And yes, she still thought it was awesome even though what Babs said just after she won the thing kept popping up in her head. You know. The time she said the word "honeymoon." Thankfully, Stephanie had been good about not mentioning anything along those lines since they left.
