He'd been getting better at taking care of himself despite Alfie not being around, as soon as he was able to get back into his apartment he started sleeping again. Full nights anyway. He'd gotten a few hours here and there with Clark, but it hadn't been the most restful sleep ever so he'd been cranky since then. More short tempered then usual. He was finally starting to get real sleep until he heard the key twist the lock. Immediately his eyes opened. The slightest sounds woke him thanks to years of training and fine tuning.
He didn't get out of bed. Not until he heard water running in his kitchen and raised a sleepy eyebrow. Sliding out of bed in nothing but a pair of boxers, he opened his door a little more and looked around carefully. "Babs? " Good thing too. Considering his current less then dressed state. She'd seen him in less before at least. His hair was floppy and all kinds of bed head ravaged. But even in his sleepy state he was awake enough had it been trouble to defend, likely protect if he needed too. Dick rarely ever slept full and heavy. Bruce taught him certain techniques to keep himself from being exhausted the next day.
His body held several scars thanks to the Bats no kill policy. It often meant sacrifices like taking a hit here and there. He was in now way flawless, but it wasn't terrible on the eyes at least. It more of a rugged look. "Wasn't 'specting you." He stated, his words a little slurred thanks to a stuffy nose and head cold.
