“Excellent,” Jack grinned as he finished securing the rope. There good and tight. Adjusting the noose he put it around his neck and made sure the it was tight and wouldn’t unravel when he jumped. Last thing he needed was a messed up spinal injury on the way down an 8 story drop.
“Alright. As soon as I jump I want you to start the stop watch and as soon as I’m still, give me 30 seconds before bringing me in just to make sure I am dead then take the noose off and keep time till I come back. Well assuming I’ll come back. So far all answers point to yes,” he chuckled at his own little magic eight ball joke, tossing her the stop watch. It was an older one, simple enough. Click once to go, click again to stop, click twice to restart.
“Okay,” he said stepping over the balcony and holding on, not really noticing the people below him that weren’t really seeing him right then. “Ready?” He asked, waiting on an answer for a split moment before facing forward again. “Alright here we go,” he said with a wicked grin on his face before jumping. It was a fast fall. His stomach felt like it flew up and then came to a sudden stop. A sickening cracking snap came from his neck as it snapped like a twig before he was left there swinging slightly, motionless with eyes wide open.
