Who: Virgil and Bart
What: feeling better but no food in sight. This must be fixed.
When:not long after his post
where:some pizza place.
Warnings: should be low. o.o

Glad to be out of bed, but not so glad to be out of food, Virgil was getting cranky. He was searching the kitchen but came up dry every time. What exactly had happened while he was down for the count? Scary demons? He knew Bart had to eat alot to be able to run, but did he have to eat everything? Making a face he folded his arms. "Baaaart. Theres nothing left!" Tapping a foot impatiently against the floor he waited for his friend to show.

"I haven't really seen anything outside this room. I need to get out of here before I go crazy yknow?" He frowned as he looked around the place. It was pretty nice, part of him wondered how much Bart had to be able to get a place like that..and to keep it for, what had it been almost a week now? Oh well, he really wasn't questioning it to much. He was just happy to have a roof over his head. Considering he didn't bring any money. He didn't realize he had too otherwise he might have not blown his allowance on comics with Richie last week. He was really regretting it. He was also regretting the fact he didn't get to read them, that was the real crime here. They were all sitting at home for him waiting and who knew when he'd get to read them again. Poor comic books, all alone in the storm that was Sharon Hawkins. Somehow deep deep down he got this feeling they were doomed to her cleaning wrath.

Bart’s ability to eat everything in sight in record time was both impressive and annoying at the same time. The first time that Oliver brought him back to his Penthouse in Star City, he had eaten so much that Oliver had probably— at first— been convinced that he had taken a starving kid under his wing. After the second week of the same kind of ravenous appetite, he began to see that Bart wasn’t famished in the way that he originally thought he must have been. He could devour more than Clark ever could (or would want to), and people said that alone was impressive. The people whose food he was eating were never so sure about that.

“There’s probably something in there. You’re just not looking hard enough,” he called back, throwing himself down on the edge of the bed. Virgil was right in thinking that it was a nice room. Bart wouldn’t settle for anything less, not after he’d spoiled himself with the best, never something worn down or cheap. He couldn’t put up with some rat infested motel room on the edge of town. He’d made the mistake of accepting those when he was first starting out, and it had been enough to steer him away from then on. He had enough money to pay for it but money didn’t last and when it ran out, he knew what he’d do. He also knew that it wasn’t right and that he was going to end up awakening a habit that had no place in one of Green Arrow’s team members.

He sped through the kitchen, went through the refrigerator and the cupboards and everything else he could look in. He came into the place like a hurricane and came to a standstill a second later. “We should go out and get food. Because there’s none here.” Just as Virgil had said.
