Well wasn't he ever the Gentleman. Belle had to admit she loved that he was here. That he was with her, and that he'd never heard of that trailer trash Rogue. No this was how it had been supposed to be all along. Him and her, in love. Content and happy and together. Julian hadn't ruined everything completely after all, she supposed she should be grateful for that. She wondered sometimes if she wasn't supposed to blame him. But then who else could she blame, that bitterness had consumed her so completely at one stage. But not here, it didn't need to here, and Remy didn't need to know about any of that. She returned the kiss wholeheartedly in the end.
"Missed you during all this, got pretty crazy didn't it and it seems thats what we should expect living here." It didn't matter though, how crazy any of it got because he was here with her. He'd remain here with her and things would be good again for as long as they had.
"They could use our skill y'know." she reasoned. "Not used to doing things for free but if we're gonna be safer as a result maybe we could sign up to battle this end of the world. What do you think? You're the..." She'd been about to say hero. But he wasn't no X Man here. He was just her Remy, and she liked it like that. "...one with all the ideas?" she amended.
