“I hope so,” he said looking around confused. “I. . . I’m not sure how to explain it. I was going somewhere and I ended up here. I’m not supposed to be here and I need help getting back,” Jack said. “Do you know any witches or wizards or mad scientists or anyone like that at all?” He asked figuring that was a good question to start with. “I have to get home as soon as I can. If I don’t Christmas will be ruined for the world,” he said as he licked his lips, they were dry and uncomfortable. The fact that he had to do that was still a small amazement. There were more pressing issues to handle first though.
Taking another look around he felt a strange sense of getting punched in the chest. “What’s the date? Is it past Christmas already? Oh no! Is there still Christmas!? Is there still a Santa!?” He cried grabbing her shoulders and shaking her slightly, not really giving her time to respond. “Tell me that there’s still Christmas! Wait. . . If there’s not Christmas, then. . . There’s no Halloween!” He screamed letting go of her and grabbing his head before falling to his knees and wailing, “Noooooooo!!!!!!!”
