Anger, he was having so much fun stirring the anger and bitterness already wrapped up in this woman's heart. Taking your friends, just like they took your Dad he sent, twisting his ring again as the thoughts would infect her mind. Make her worse, angrier. Ready to snap. He had to work to supress a smile. This was far too easy, Jo had found her way in charge of this little operation and he was loosing her mind. Or, he was loosing it for her.
"I'm not sure I can forget what I've seen, everything... demons, people that can do the strangest things. I can't just get that out of my head. It's not possible" he told her. Being as calm as he could while she was loosing herself to anger. "And Jo, I know I'm not a...a Hunter or anything. But you can talk to me you know, about whatever is troubling you, whenever you need to. Mary, she's...wonderful, but one of those demons is using her son. I know how much that would get to me if that was my Lucy. She's in Paris. She's safe from this, but I can just imagine I wouldn't be completely...unbiased." It was all so academic, make her turn from Mary to him, not completely of course, just about certain things. Making himself the only one she could trust.
"We'll help them though, you and me. We'll get your friends through this and we'll deal with whatever caused it, won't we?"
