Sam had no idea just how right he was. Jo was indeed out on the streets, looking for any danger. She had stayed in the church for as long as she could, but she was getting restless – she didn’t like being cooped up. Her mind was still kind of reeling from Cas’s insistence that the demons weren’t real, but it was hard to accept, when faced with them herself. So today was spent traveling the streets, looking for anyone who might be pinned down by demons, ducking the larger groups, and taking out those who were on their own. It was way too easy, and she knew that, but right now? She didn’t care. Jo didn’t want to actually kill any people, but she had started carrying real bullets in her shotgun just in case she had to.
As she turned a corner, she paused when she spotted a lone figure walking alone and carrying a gun. It only took a moment for her to realize that it was Sam Winchester…or his body, anyway. Sam wasn’t the kind of person to go out on his own in the middle of something like this, so she could only assume that it was the demon. She crouched against the wall, then began to slowly follow him, watching her step to avoid making any sounds as she stalked him. As she moved closer, she found she was grateful for the extra rope she had stuffed into her bag to tie demons up – no way was she letting this particular evil son of bitch wander Lawrence in her friend’s skin. She’d take him back to the church and tie him up just like she did with Chuck.
