The looting was getting ridiculous and tiring. Virgil had been out of the complex too long for his own good. Nightwing and Clark even longer from the sounds of things on the comms, but that didn't stop him from being tired. If anything, thinking about being tired made tired worse. Virgil groaned. Richie thought he was a demon, even threw water at him directly and wiped him out. It hadn't been enough water to drain him completely, but it was enough to give him a decent sized headache. Who knew where he was now though, Virgil was still a little angry with him. He couldn't bring himself to care. He knew he couldn't really blame him given the circumstances, but it was like the logic wasn't connecting. He was still upset. After corralling a small group of criminals he traded his costume in a near by ally for his civis from a blue backpack he'd stashed there earlier.
It felt good to be Virgil for a little while and not Static. There were several things on his mind when his stomach growled and reminded him he hadn't had breakfast yet. His eyes were tired, and his body was sore. Fortunately there was a near by gym he knew of only a few blocks away with a shower facility and benches to nap on. After he found breakfast that was next on his agenda. Most shopping centers had turned into ghost towns, Virgil found out as he began to turn his attention to food. What was he going to do? He couldn't steal. What kind of super hero stole their breakfast, even in a crisis?
Virgil was lost in a world of thought when he rounded a corner and felt a strange object crack under his foot. It felt like glass. Looking up for the rest, spotted the strange scene of a man standing on his coat to climb inside. "..Uh?" Virgil didn't know what to say. He wasn't dressed as Static. If he pulled that personality out of the air it would run the risk of blowing his cover. So he just stood there looking a little confused like a normal teenager faced with an abnormal problem.
"I don't think anyone's home." He finally stated as he pointed into the store where there was infact no one waiting inside for them. The place had been abandoned in the chaos and frankly Virgil didn't blame them one bit. If he didn't have a hero complex, he would have gotten the hell out of dodge long ago too.
