"You're being really pessimistic here," Puck said casually, reaching out to run his fingers along Beth's forehead. "Does it really even matter how we had her? Isn't the important thing that she's actually here and stuff?" Puck was pretty good at the pessimism thing himself, but he was trying real hard to handle all of this as maturely as possible. They already had enough to worry about as it was, right? Between the responsibility of raising Beth up and keeping her safe in this Apocalypse ridden world, where people were constantly being killed and attacked and screwed around with, Puck didn't wanna think about the little things. Not that knocking Quinn up was a little thing. It was, in fact, a very big deal. But Puck really didn't want to think about explaining that one to their daughter. "It's not like me and you matter anyway, does it?" Puck looked up at Quinn, brows rising curiously. Of course it didn't matter. Why would it matter? It wasn't like all this changed anything between them outside of shared responsibility. He liked Quinn. He did. But...she was confusing. Puck didn't like being confused. It made his head hurt and his mohawk itchy. "The important thing is that we keep her safe. Together." He brushed his fingers across the top of her head, smirking a little at the lack of hair he found there. Bald, yet beautiful. He still thought she was beautiful.
The Trickster. Puck had heard a few things about him. Nothing pleasant. Funny thing was, he probably would have liked the dude if he hadn't screwed around with him and his family. Puck was a real sucker for a good prank. "Next time, tell him to take us somewhere nicer. Like Super Mario World." Not a real place. Puck liked to pretend that it was. "Think about it. You and me could be sittin' in Princess Peaches castle right now. Eating mushrooms, chilling with Mario." Puck pulled his hand away from Beth and grinned. "She's going to learn all sorts of cool stuff from me. Like Nintendo. And football. I bet she's got an arm on her." Of course she did. She was his kid.
