Quinn looked up as Puck sat down at the edge of her bed just staring at Beth like she was perfect. It was lucky really seeing as she was perfect. And she didn't know how she could have lied to him before. How she could have let on that Beth was Finn's. Puck had really prooved himself, and even though she still wasn't sure she could raise Beth properly, even though back home she probably would have followed through with her plans for adoption. But now, here, watching the little girl so dependent on her, so little.
"She's fine. She's sleeping now, they say she'll do that a lot for the first while." She was ready to join the girl, sleep sounded like an awesome idea and they'd said stiff about sleeping when she did, least that's what she'd worked out from the translator nurse. She rested her head back against the bed, fingers gently stroking the few hairs on her daughters head. "They really came through for us Puck, both of them. And yeah, those two...I don't think it matters what the usual done thing is. They'll be friends for life and they were here, with us. Through it all. I want them both as Godmothers. She needs Godmothers. She needs...she needs to be a better person than us. Taught better, so I need to get her christend y'know?"
She didn't know if he'd mind that being Jewish and stuff, she didn't know if they even did that kind of thing with their babies. Lucky she hadn't had a boy really, Puck might have wanted stuff...cut. Which would have probably made Quinn vomit. Or cry. Either way it would have been messy.
