Quinn was, well if she was honest with herself there were a mass of emotions running through her head as she held the baby she'd never intended to keep and thought about the madness that her life here had become. Beth Fabray Puckerman would be raised with all sorts of dangers and worries, she'd have to contend with so much if they didn't get back home, and the scariest part, maybe of all, was that she didn't know if they'd ever get home. She didn't understand how the seals worked or anything like it, all she knew was that she and Puck were gonna protect their little girl. He'd told her so with a conviction she wasn't used to seeing from the guy she'd once called nothing more than a Lima Looser.
Of course he'd needed some time to get his head around the fact that Beth was here. Born in a hospital in China of all places, Quinn supposed she understood why the Trickster had done what he did, it was still an inconveniance at best that it was China but she, her baby, Puck and her friends had found themselves safe from the demons as the baby was brought into the world. And if nothing else, Beth would know that she was safe because there were people all around her who loved her more than anything on the earth. She would know that she was loved.
She seemed to smile up at her mother even though she'd read in a book babies didn't smile for a little while after they were born. But it seemed that when Puck came into the room and spoke, Beth knew. Quinn thought she did at least, smart kid they'd made. Somehow. "Um...yeah more or less" she said with a wide smile. She beckoned him over toward her and Beth. "Tired mostly, but I guess I'm supposed to be, how are you? Where are Brittany and Santana?" she asked, she wanted her friends to meet Beth now she was all cleaned and sitting so comfortably in her arms. "...She can totally have two Godmothers, right?"
