She fell into step easily behind him, bringing up infra-red vision over one eye, just so she could have a little forewarning if anything was trying to sneak up on them, or hiding out in any of the darkened storefronts or vehicles, she answered his initial statement with a quiet: "Sounds like I've got some experience with it because I do. When your quarry doesn't fight fair it pays to fight the same way." She kept her voice down, enough that he could hear her, but not enough to alert anyone else that may be nearby.
Once outside the fact that she moved like a predator was more obvious, practically silent, movements contained and calm, just flowing smoothly while still giving the impression that she was ready to spring, or strike, or even just change direction at a moment's notice. It was like watching a snake move, really, that same sort of coiled readiness.
