Shay did know. Sam did too. First-hand experience with demons riding you like the best damn horse on the track made it all too difficult to forget. But still. There was something pretty off about them. Something that Sam personally couldn't place. "Outside of the violent tendencies, they're not acting much like them. Think about it - guns? What the hell does a demon need a gun for?" Plenty of them running around outside had them too. Sam hadn't ever seen a demon really bother with one of those before when they could easily snap their fingers and break a person in half. It just didn't add up. "Exorcisms aren't working on them either. It's just...it's off." Sam frowned thoughtfully. He needed to get the supplies back. Then he could try and sit down and do some research. There was an old computer in the building that he was currently using. Very old. So old that Sam wanted to put his foot through the big, rusty looking screen. He probably would have done so if not for the fact that it was entirely useful at the moment. Sam really despised crappy computers.
"Try and get some food and water." Sam ran a hand across his jaw and turned, surveying the area for something that Shay could carry it all in. A shopping cart, maybe? Would that be too obvious? Huh. "See if they have any of those environment friendly, recyclable bags behind the counter," Sam suggested, kneeling back down to retrieve the rest of the salt. They'd need it all. "It'll be easier to carry. Less likely to break than paper or plastic, at least." The extra hands were useful. It made Sam half regret not bringing Ruby along to help him out with all this. But she, too, had her own things to take care of.
