Shay was coiled tight, ready to spring, then again, she always gave off the vibe that she was just resting, ready to bolt into movement without even a moment's notice. She also looked like someone who hadn't slept in a couple days, which was just about right. Granted, she could survive on catnaps where most people couldn't, it was just the way she was designed. She had been made for life in the wild, and it didn't get much wilder than what had been going on the past few days.
She eyed him critically, calculating, she was a predator and she knew it, the only thing that belied her calm was the tattoo across her brow, the snakes just starting to flicker into movement, giving away just how quickly her pulse was racing. He looked okay, but that didn't mean anything, she knew that from firsthand experience.
She nodded at the snapped question, "Shay. Just Shay. You?" She was fast, but she was pretty sure she couldn't outrun firearms, and she really didn't want to hurt anybody, not today.
