Who? Parker and Booth, so far What? Booth needed a runner and Parker volunteered, but first they need to be sure that neither of them is possessed. Where? the lobby of the complex When? during the crazy War stuff Rating? Nothing too bad except for the possibility of language.
Since ‘Eliot’ had tried to get her to leave the apartment complex, promising to take her somewhere safe where a friend was laying low, Parker had stayed holed up in her apartment. She wasn’t sure just how safe she was there, but it felt safer than wandering the streets. She gave her reflection a good stare down in the bathroom mirror and nodded, satisfied that she didn’t see any black eyes or devil horns sprouting from her head.
Though she was safe, she felt kind of useless. When Booth asked for assistance on the com she decided that it was her calling to do something to help out. She tucked the flask of Holy water Xander had given her in her pants’ pocket. She slipped the amulet Eliot had given her as a gift under her shirt to make it more difficult for any passing demon to just tear it off of her person. Parker decided that she was ready.
As always, she took the stairs. She hurried down the flights of stairs like the building was on fire. She’d decided that hurrying meant getting supplies to the good, unpossessed people all the faster.
Parker stepped into the main lobby, looking around for Booth.
