It was what Tenel Ka would do. The sensible thing, take the boy out of the street, somewhere safe. Pull him out of the illusion and then decide on the best course of action. It was more red tape, as it were, and Jacen should have just gone ahead with what he thought was right, but he didn't. He waited. He nodded, "Alright" he said simply and closed his eyes for a moment using a Theran Listening technique to zone in on some of the houses around until he picked one with no noise, not even anything like someone trying to be quiet, the house, he saw, had no car outside. Nothing. It was a perfect place for them to go in his opinion, he'd do what he had to do and then he would join them there, scour the neighbourhood for civillians, all the things one was supposed to do at a time like this.
"Second house across the street. It's completely empty. We take him there until I free his mother. It won't take me long. And I only have him in that state because of what we were talking about it. If you'd rather him freed then I can do that, the boy is perfectly safe I assure you. You can look for appropriate next of kin once I determine if I can free the mother, if not then it will take longer and you're right, we should give him to an appropriate next of kin. But if you're ready, I'll free him." He turned his gaze to the boy and after a moment and a slight blink of confusion the boy looked from him to Sunshine. "Is my Mom fixed?." he asked, as if nothing strange had happened, the past few minutes would feel like seconds, like a daydream, because Jacen had willed it.
He let Sunshine answer that, turning from them to walk toward the house. "I'll be back, soon as I can" he told her, and continued toward the boy's house to free the woman from the possession that inflicted her.
