The girl was good with children, he'd give her that, and much as it pained Jacen to watch and have it remind him of Allana, he'd promised to help the boy. She was doing all the right things too, calming him, being friendly with him, talking on his level. Jacen meanwhile was thinking, working through what would happen. How this would play out. He didn't have a stratagy and he thought better with stratagy. He always had. And right now, he wasn't sure there was anything in his tactical mind that could deal with a small boy missing his mother, possessed by a creature from hell. It was all far too... Well he wasn't sure, Emotional maybe. Either way he didn't like it. He supposed the simple plan worked best. Leave the boy with Sunshine, deal with the mother, and go from there.
"I'll go, I'll do what needs to be done to restore the mother if you'll keep the boy here Sunshine. Would that be acceptable?" The words felt strange, asking like that. Would it be acceptable. Jacen was used to not being questioned by those around him. And when they did question him, he didn't ever ask their permission to do something, which he supposed is what he was doing now to Sunshine, this girl with a strange name that he'd never met. He was asking her. He shook his head, Maybe Tenel Ka would be proud of him if she'd known that.
Jacen finally made a decision, and set about distracting the boy with a basic Force Illusion, so he couldn't hear them, but Sunshine could hear him. He wasn't hurting the boy, he was mearly distracting him. That was fine wasn't it. That was fair. "...He can't hear us. He's fine, he's just distracted. Now, The Boy's mother is possessed, there is a demon inside her that I know the words to remove, they're spoken in a language called Latin and they're the only real way to deal with something like this. I'll explain more later, I'll explain everything, but you need to keep the boy safe while I do this, and it won't be pleasent so I can...subdue his mind for the duration. He'll still be perfectly safe, just sleeping so he doesn't need to hear his mother like that."
The illusion remained, visible and audible only to the boy as Jacen waited for Sunshine's response. It could really go one of two ways here.
