“I’m Parker.” The corners of Parker’s mouth tugged up into a near-smile. She wasn’t the best with people, especially people she had just met, but she was trying. She silently wished that someone with more social grace was around to introduce her.
“I’m something else,” She explained in a fairly cryptic manner. “But I’m learning to fight.”
Eliot had been teaching her basic moves. She could take on Hardison back home, but that wasn’t saying a whole lot. Part of it had been that she took him by surprise, but even if he’d been expecting Parker to be a pretty good fighter she had a feeling that he would have let her win the fight, anyway. Sarah Connor looked like she could give even Eliot a run for his money as far as fighting went. She wondered what kind of world the woman came from.
“Who do you fight?” She wrinkled her eyebrows just slightly and cocked her head to the side curiously.
