Parker had spent the night not sleeping, but really getting the lay of the land. She had examined all of the locks she had access to first partially for being a thief and also for being curious of how easily someone could sneak inside. She’d roamed the halls nonchalantly and even dipped her feet into the pool, all part of trying to occupy herself so that she would be less tempted to steal something from any random person near to her. That saying ‘Idle hands are the Devil’s workshop’ had some truth when it came to Parker.

Now she’d found herself in the gym, and it was a pretty complete gym at that. Parker was pretty good at being inconspicuous. It was easy for her to blend into the scenery still wearing her black thief’s attire. She found herself watching a woman she wasn’t acquainted with. The way the woman moved was very familiar. The way she struck at the bag seemed to suggest that she was used to fighting and very good at it. Finally, Parker spoke up from a corner.

“Are you a hitter?”
