Xander was kind of excited. One would think that a guy who had been here for as long as he had would have learned to get over the whole real life superhero aspect of their current situation. But Xander? He was the type of person who had practically grown up with these characters at his side. Batman and Spider-man were always within arms reach, as he'd spent tons of time reading comic books and geeking out over the releases of comic related movies and such. He was nowhere near Andrew's level of geekery, but Xander definitely held a special place in his heart for all the epic heroes that he had invested himself in throughout his childhood. Being able to work with Victor Stone in person? It was practically a dream come true. Xander was teaming up with Victor Stone, Barbara Gordon, Dick Grayson - the DC comic side of things, it seemed, was really loving Xander right now. Not that he'd complain. It was awesome. Still, he had to keep up a professional sort of air about him when he met up with Victor. He was one of Babs' most trusted members of the tech team and Xander really had to make sure that Victor knew what he was doing before he fully came on board with the rest of them. Xander wasn't too concerned about Victor's capabilities; he was literally built for this kind of thing, wasn't he? If anyone could handle working with technology on a constant basis, it was definitely this guy. Dressed in casual wear (as Xander didn't have to work out on the construction site for the first time in days), Xander popped down to the first floor and made his way out to the security room. It wasn't difficult to identify Victor - Xander had seen him around the building before - so he lifted a hand and waved at him somewhat cheerfully. "Hey! You haven't been waiting long, have you?"
Fishing a hand around in his pocket, Xander dug up the key to the security room. "I'm really glad you decided to give joining the team a shot. I've sort of, uh..." Xander shot Victor a sheepish sort of look. "I've read about you before. Also saw you on Smallville. You're the perfect guy for a job like this and we could really use all the help we can get here." Victor Stone and Barbara Gordon working on the same team. Jeez, that was like the most effective combination ever, wasn't it? Their tech was going to be friggin' sweet after these two started working together.
