"Such a strange thing to hear from you; that you work," she teased softly. They may have a lot of moments that they argue but he knew that it would never really change their friendship. And just because they argue doesn't mean they can't joke. She could be funny. Walking in when he opened the door, she looked around at his slight gesture. It was so very Ron, she had to admit it. "It suits you." And it wasn't too messy. That was also a surprise, she half expected there to be more things laying about the floor. But of course, he had grown a lot even in the past few months back at home so she imagined he had matured even more being here.
She laughed at his claim that he could cook without there being a fire. Grinning in response to his own, she felt her heart miss a beat. She liked his smile. Looking down for a moment she tried to ignore the slow burning of her cheeks. She didn't want think about what she knew she felt. She had come to terms with that in her sixth year at Hogwarts. But she would never take that step, she needed him there as a friend and couldn't risk things being awkward.
"Hmm?" she asked before going through her mind to find what he said last. When she did, she smiled gently at him. "Yes, thank you."
