Hermione rarely slept in, it had always seemed a waste of valuable time. And it seemed even here that was true. After all, why sleep the day away when she was in a new place that she had to get use to in case she was stuck here for quite a while? Plus, she would have to find some form of work whilst she was here if she wanted to be able to live and if she didn't start now perhaps it would be too late.
Not for the first time since she arrived here she found herself thankful for her little bag. She really should get the things that belonged to Ron that she packed to him, it made little sense her keeping them when he was here. She just wished she had Harry here, too. Maybe then she would stop worrying about him not that being with him stopped her worrying at home. But yes, her bag gave her some of her own clothing along with books so that kept her settled. But that was about it.
After pulling on her clothes, she scraped some of her hair back and grabbed the bag. It may not be the most plain of bags, hardly suitable for just going out for the day, but it was all she had. Tugging at her purple cardgian so it wasn't pulling her shirt up, she left her room. And immediately saw the flamed hair that could never be mixed up in her mind. Grinning when she faced him, she started to walk over.
"Ron!" she found herself calling before she got close.
