Ruby had gone for basic black, slit at the thigh, just enough cleavage to be the slutty side of classy and her favorite boots, and the rest was for Sam to know she was wearing and everyone else to remain in the dark on, the barest hint of a red strap under the black material at her arm was the only indication of something other than black in the whole ensable. For her it didn't feel weird or strange to be dressed like this, it was a little effort for a lot of gain, and it never looked like effort. She was skilled to be as alluring as possible no matter the meat. But she did like how she'd been feeling in this body. She'd been ready when Jo had called by, waiting by the door like some kind of mortal child waiting for her first date. She and Sam had been on many dates, and admittidly maybe Prom Date had been a bad analogy, given what she knew about Sam's actual prom. She'd wanted that assignment too. Probably for the best she'd given it over to another demon. Azazel had said she'd have been wasted with that. His plans for her had been far greater. Not that he'd know it would ever lead her here. She climbed out of the truck once Jo had stopped the car and looked across to the resturant. The Brangilina resturant. She kind of hoped they didn't remember that bit. It would be the shortest meal ever if they did. But then she was sure Sam would have thought of everything.
She walked around the car, finally getting a proper look at Jo's dress. Honestly Ruby had expected some kind of Hunter Barbie, but Jo looked amazing. Maybe this would be a good night for her as opposed to just babysitting. That was essentially what it was, but Jo had made more of an effort than that. It was possible she really did like this guy. But whatever she looked like, she supposed Jo was waiting on an answer. Was Ruby ready? "As I'll ever be. Pretty much hoping he doesn't football tackle me for blood. Beyond that, I'd consider it a good night. This place...we have a little bit of a history with it" she said remembering the night, the cake. "He gave me a birthday. He told me I deserved one same as everyone else and so this was it"
She beckoned Jo toward the resturant really not wanting to keep Sam waiting if he'd arrived already. That and she really did feel a little like the Prom Date. But in a good way, with guardians in evening gowns probably packing weapons somewhere on her person, just like her. Probably just like Sam too. But tonight was not the night for that. Sam had remembered her new birthday and that was what mattered, getting to see him.
