It didn't take Epiphany long to down her glass of whiskey before ordering another one. Which was fine, actually, considering she had been drinking somewhat regularly for several years by that point. And drinking regularly lets you build up a tolerance for the stuff. Takes a while to get drunk.
So, she did what anyone else that had a somewhat-high tolerance would have done. She ordered a second glass. The thought that she should just go ahead and order a bottle did cross her mind but she figured that might be a bit too overkill, even for her.
After taking a nice gulp of her second glass, she decided to actually look around the bar. Epiphany didn't know many people, so it was really doubtful that she was going to run into anyone, but there was never any harm in double checking. That was when she noticed the giant sitting a couple chairs down from her. She perked a brow a bit, it was pretty obvious that he was already drunk and she couldn't help wondering how much it took to get a guy that size drunk. So, she picked up her glass and made her way over. "Oi," she said once she was close enough that he might actually hear her over the pounding music. "You're that Sam bloke, aren't ya?"
