Jo's attention had already began to wander, when the woman - she caught the Northern accent, of course, and filed it away - spoke. She nodded at the compliment, and in response to the first question. "We opened about six or so weeks ago. I moved to town about two months ago." Those were roundabout the right dates, but she didn't need to give exact numbers. She cracked her bottle and took a sip as she leaned against the bar, her dark eyes idly looking over the brunette.
"So you just passing through?" She was looking her over curiously, of course, but she wasn't being unfriendly about it. The way the woman sipped at her beer amused her just a little - as if she didn't quite enjoy it but was drinking it anyway. "On your way from or back to the north?" She leaned against the back counter absently, taking a longer sip from the bottle, then setting it down.
