Jo - OPEN
Jo wasn't particularly sure what she was doing here. Sure she'd offered to help but as the days passed by it was getting harder and harder to find reason to stay. Mostly she was just anxious, she hadn't stood still in a long time and it was starting to get to her. And it was hard, with Sam and Dean there, feeling like she had to prove she was okay all the time when she was anything but.
She separated from the group when Sam told them to go look around, not really wanting to hang around Sam, Dean and their demon friend. Ruby was a whole other stress added to the situation that Jo quite frankly was done dealing with. She thought it a huge mistake to put as much trust in the demon as Sam seemed hellbent on doing. To let her know exactly where they planned to house all these displaced people, it was dumb. Sure maybe it could work out okay but demons lied, demons fucked you over. And Jo was having a hard time buying Ruby's whole but I'm different angle. Maybe it was excessively paranoid but she couldn't help it. Excessive paranoia was the only thing that had kept her alive this long. She didn't do this with someone else, at the end of the day it was her and her alone, there was no one to watch her back. She didn't take chances.
She wandered into one of the rooms on the first floor and turned the lights on, glancing up at the bar bulb in the living area as it flickered before finally turning on. It could be a nice place, if they managed to get it fixed up. It was just the whole fixing up process that seemed daunting at the moment. She headed into the kitchen and turned on the tap, a wrinkle of her nose as the water ran a suspicious colour of brown before running clear.
