Nervousness couldn't even begin to describe what Jo Harvelle was feeling right now. Worry was a huge part of it, actually. The message from Ruby had sounded short and tense. Sam needs you. He's in trouble. Go to this warehouse at... And Jo had left town, taking with her Cara as backup. She probably should have stayed behind to help with the cleanup after the mass exorcism, but she was confident that Booth and Spike could handle that.
As she pulled up outside the warehouse and cut off the truck, Jo glanced to the blond who sat beside her. "Wait here...I'm not out in ten minutes, get the hell out of here." Though she doubted the woman would do that, because from what little she knew of Cara, she wasn't the 'leave people behind' type. She reached behind the seats and pulled out a shotgun, then slung her Hunter's kit over her shoulder. She had no idea what might be waiting for her inside, but she would make sure she's prepared for anything.
She stepped out of the truck and shut the door, then headed over to the warehouse. The door was unlocked, which didn't surprise her if Sam was inside - he would be okay, she was sure of it. Jo stepped inside slowly, pausing a moment for her eyes to adjust to the near-darkness. She tilted her head to listen closely for any sign of someone else, especially Sam. When she didn't hear anyone at first, she started to move further inside, then called out softly, gun at the ready.
