Oh she'd stay behind him. She wasn't going anywhere because she'd finally done it. Because soon Lilith would die and her Lord would rise and everything she'd worked for would come true. She exchanged a glance with Lilith who she had to admit was playing her part beautifully, turning to face her murderer with her usual grace still wearing that dental hygenist she'd gotten so fond of. And Meg had made it happen. Helped it happen. She was just that good.
She didn't say anything, what would she say. This was perfect. This was everything she'd ever wanted, and she was gonna watch it happen. She was gonna be the first demon Lucifer saw when he walked upon Earth, and it was all down to her now.
Lilith meanwhile knew it was for the best, knew that this was her purpose and who knew. Maybe he would bring her back. He could do that. He had that power of course. He was Lucifer. Of course demons, he wasn't really a fan of his own creations. It was a slap in the face to his own creator. He'd told her so through every exquisite torture, everything he did to make her an abomination. Not that she'd told the younger ones. They couldn't handle it, even Azazel would have had a hard time understanding that his 'Padre' despised what he was, though he was a special case. He always had been.
She turned when Sam slammed his way through the door, Meg dressed up as Ruby in his wake. It was really happening then. She didn't say anything either, she didn't need to. She just met his gaze, an appropriately shocked look on her face. And waited.
