Re: Demon!Eliot - Booth
"Do you ever get tired of hearing yourself talk?" He snapped. Not wanting to play with the demon anymore and losing his patience. He knew logically he shouldn't let it show that the creepy crawler was getting to him, but it was still a hard thing to stomach that it had taken over Eliot and was a demon from hell. Booth didn't believe in that kind of thing, so for him it was twice as bad. It had him scared but he continued the Latin and didn't stop reading despite the demons attempt to throw him off by distracting and more words.
He'd hoped the Latin would be enough to stop the combos from coming, but he was wrong and his little cheat sheet of Latin fell from his hand as Eliots kick connected and it felt like the wind had been knocked out of him as he stumbled back. He held a hand against his chest and tried to get his voice back. Fortunately he remembered the remaining lines. Studying always paid off, Booth did his homework.
