Spike attempting to lay down some salt lines on the streets - OPEN!
Spike didn't like taking orders. He rarely listened to much of anyone that wasn't him and it wasn't going to start anytime soon, demon attack or not. Still, that didn't mean that Spike was above helping. He liked some of the people that were staying at the complex (not that he would admit that), which meant that he really did not want to be around when they died. So Spike would help. And if Booth tried to get away with saying that he had gotten to order Spike around in the future, Spike would probably kill him. The job that he had been assigned wasn't the most simple, but Spike was probably one of the best to be stuck with it. He was harder to kill than some of the others and took pain on with a smile. If the demons figured out what he was trying to do? He'd deal with it. Always did.
Spike hopped onto his motorcycle, black jacket swinging behind him as he climbed on. Tied on either side of the handlebars were bags of rock salt, both of which Spike planned on scattering through the streets. He would start at the ends, come back for more, and then drive straight on through and deliver as much as he could. Not only would the demons be trapped, but if he actually got around to spraying the rest of the streets with the salt? They'd probably end up hurting too. It probably wasn't going to be easy. In fact, there was no certainty that this half-assed plan would even work. But Spike was willing to give it all a try. He had to, didn't he? They were screwed to hell and then some at the moment and they had to do everything they could to get through this fight. Even if that meant taking some crazy risks.
The engine to his bike roared to life and Spike went tearing out into the street. He'd start on one end, then he'd circle the block and sprinkle as much as he could to trap them away from the buildings on each side of the streets. And if anyone got in his way? Spike reached over his shoulder and checked for the baseball bat that he'd tied around himself. He always had enjoyed a good hit and run.
