MiniScene: Chuck'n'Jo - VISION FUNTIMES!
'Scared' wasn't a word that would have described Jo right now. No, currently, the blond Hunter was focused. Her eyes were fixed on the road as she pushed her truck to the limit, navigating half-deserted streets with a race car driver's finesse. The silence coming from the passenger seat was starting to grate just a bit, however, as it filtered in through her concentration. Finally, her dark gaze cut over to Chuck, and the frown on her face deepened as she saw the state he was in. This was not good.
When he spoke, her eyes had already returned to the road, but they flickered over a second time. It had been a bad idea for him to come along, but it had been his choice. Jo knew from experience what it was like to have others make a decision for you, so she wasn't going to do that for anyone else with this fight. If they wanted in, fine. And Chuck had wanted in.
"You're seeing something." The words were stated, a simple fact. "What is it, Chuck?"
