WHO Dean Winchester & Zachariah.
WHAT: Anything is possible when your angel smells like Old Spice and not a lady.
WHERE: Look down, back up - where are you? You’re in the green room with the angel your angel despises.
WHEN: Evening.
RATING: PG-13.
With Sam Winchester well on his way to meeting Lilith, Zachariah couldn't deny that he was currently what most humans liked to call a 'smug bastard.' Lilith was going to die. The final seal was going to break. In doing so, the apocalypse would begin and God's will would be done. Michael and Lucifer would meet on the battlefield and their destinies would finally be fulfilled. Zachariah and the other angels were carefully setting each piece in it's place. With Sam well on his way to the church, Zach knew that he had to get his hands on the other Winchester before someone else did. Dean also held a very important role in this story and Zachariah was going to make sure that he got to play it very, very soon. Of course, in order to do that, he had to actually convince Dean to agree to their terms. But that would come along soon enough, once Dean realized that he had to accept his fate. In order for that to happen, Zachariah needed to find him and talk him down. Along with rubbing the fact that he and his brother were being screwed from day one in his face. Hey, what could he say? He was a smug bastard, right? Maybe any other man looking to make a business proposition would have tried staying on the good side of the man being ushered into a deal, but Zachariah already knew that he was going to win here. He didn't need to kiss Dean Winchester's ass to make things happen. Dean wouldn't have a choice.
Kind of like how Dean didn't have any choice when it came to the fact that he was going to be abducted and dragged into the one place in this human infested planet where Zachariah found he spent a majority of his time. Some called it the green room. Others called it the place on Earth that they truly feared the most. Zachariah? He called it his little slice of home on Earth. It was far from heaven, but it would most certainly do for now.
The angel had no trouble locating Dean. Angels had the uncanny ability to locate most people on a whim (unless they were protected by some form of magic, of course) and Dean wasn't all that difficult to locate. He was alone. Away from his brother. Zachariah appeared within a grubby looking motel room, doing so in a manner that made it so that he was only a foot or two in front of Dean Winchester himself. Zachariah straightened out the collar of his suit, stepped forward, and instantly grabbed Dean by the shoulder. Before the Winchester could have said so much as a word to him, they were both transported right into the green room. There were dozens of fancy paintings scattered throughout the area, couches and chairs alike that looked like they existed purely for the white and gold decor, various statues representing some of God's more favored archangels, and a table centered in the middle of the room piled high with piping hot cheeseburgers and cold beers (both of which were specifically created to Dean's liking). See, he could play nice. Sort of.
Except for that whole part where there wasn't any way for Dean to escape. But he had food. Food was good!
"Kick back, relax - you're gonna be here a while, Dean," Zachariah declared. Not only because they needed him for Michael related purposes, but because he certainly didn't want Dean Winchester getting in the way of Lilith's destruction.
