There didn’t seem to be anyone in here, not visibly at least, but then again with Jaina’s senses she didn’t need to see to know someone was here. She stopped walking a little ways inside the building, looking up at the figure stands and calls out to her.
>"You made it, I was starting to think you were scared to lose and weren't gonna show up."
Jaina’s expression went from delight to something like a pout, and her head was tilted to the side, peering up at him. She was still getting used to wearing this body, wearing any body at all, getting used to being more solid than a puff of smoke or a broken form back at Home, and she was probably over-doing everything - the expressions, the movements when she stepped forward just a little and put her hands on her hips.
She’d have plenty of time to learn, though. She wasn’t giving this body up for anything.
“’Course not, silly. I never lose.”
He was uneasy. She could tell. She liked to be able to tell, their senses were helpful, told her what she needed to know. She could manipulate him easier that way, play her own game as well as his. Cheat at both and come out on top. She never did lose, not if she tried hard enough. Inside their head, Jaina was shifting, pushing and shoving, but she held her back. Jaina just didn’t understand - this was better, everything would be better this way. This was the way it was meant to be, this was who they were meant to become, dark on the inside and bright with blue-violet energy outside, sparks between her fingers, something to play with while she waited for him to come down.
“You gonna stay all the way up there, or are we ever gonna get to have some fun?”
