Who: Brittany and OPEN
Where: The park
When: Afternoon, just after high school would normally let out
What: Arriving, confusion, pondering on a more sustainable lifestyle
Warnings: Depends on the welcome wagon I expect, nothing for now

Brittany knew three things.

1. If she was not at Cheerios practice in three minutes Coach Sylvester would make her run laps until she was satisfied she was going to either have a heart attack or never be late again
2. You could not feed a pony steak no matter how hungry it looked or the man giving the pony rides would yell at you
3. Trees did not belong in high schools.

There were no ponies anywhere near here but there were a lot of trees. Also a sign about picking up litter in a park. Maybe high school was a park now. She'd heard on the news that people had to help the environment because someone spilled oil on it. Parks were probably better for the earth than high schools. So trees were good and there were no ponies but she still had no idea how to get to Cheerios and that was pretty bad. She concentrated for a minute, relaxing all her muscles and letting her mouth hang slightly open because when you were relaxed your brain could work better. Then it came to her: Santana would know what to do. She whipped out her cellphone, dialed...and...nothing but some beeps and a voice that wasn't Santana saying the number was not in service. Maybe cell phones were bad for the earth too? Whatever was going on she had to find the gym soon. If you ran enough laps, she knew from experience, sometimes you, like, barfed.

“Um,” she said, tapping the nearest passerby on the shoulder, “where's the gym?”
