"Not entirely a bad thing. I know from experience." Dick was only twenty six but his years with Batman made him feel so much older sometimes. He had worlds of experience when it came to crime fighting. He'd been at the Kevlar for years since he was a kid, and opposites made the best partners. In his world Bats and Supers didn't always coexist, but when they had too they made a formidable force to be reckoned with. Sometimes their strategies clashed but in the end it usually worked out for the best.
"As if I'm the only one whose called you farmboy, farmboy." He chuckled as he brushed some dark hair away from his sleepy eyes. He shook his head. "It is. I was sent here because of some crazy magical mojo and I can't get back to my world. I don't like being put some place against my will and then be told theirs not much to be done about it. I've been trying to work on ways to get home all night but come up with zilch." He frowned and then met Clark's gaze with his own piercing blue eyes filled with a hint of curiosity.
The touch was warm and comforting, unlike Bruce's it brought the faintest hope and he offered a lopsided smile. "Gee thanks. " Dick was known for quick wit and sarcasm. It was pretty much a Robin trademark. With his hand pushing some black bangs away again he grinned. "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful." His motto was to always enjoy life, even when it threw the worst at you to look at the brighter side. One thing he could appreciate was the fact that at least in this world he didn't have to worry about Batman's shadow always being behind him. Resting his hand back on his knee while the sun came up he carefully shifted. "I should probably get that sleep before Babs tries to drug me into it." Beginning to stand, he gave Clark a friendly nudge and headed back toward his room in the complex. Pausing by the door that lead back in side he looked over his shoulder and smiled genuinely probably for the first time since he arrived. "Thanks Clark." He didn't elaborate on what exactly, but he was happy that at least some things didn't change. "You comin'?" He held the door open a little longer incase he decided to come in, and then slipped inside.
