Of course she didn't care if he went out drinking with anyone. Gwen wasn't about to start telling Lindsey what he could do or who he could do it with. She hated it when he tried to control her life and so she was hardly about to do the same to him. He could be asked out by every woman in Kansas for all she cared, it was his business. And no doubt he'd get asked out by a lot of women. From a detached view point, Gwen could see that he was a good looking, intelligent man who would no doubt be a great boyfriend, and good for him. Lots of women were free to try.

But for some reason that knowledge gave her an overwhelming desire to eat her own weight in ice cream and down far too much hard liquor. Even she recognized that it was a dumb plan to do that on her own and so plans were made with Ruby and Andrea.

Gwen bought herself some supplies, a big tub of Rocky Road and a large bottle of tequila, as well as the gram of coke she kept in the pocket of her jacket. Just in case.

She headed over to Ruby's motel room, figuring that was as good a place as any to start off with.
