Who: Morgana and Piper
What: A run in.. Piper is talking a walk (and trying not to blow anything up)
Where: On the street not far from the apartments.
When: Morning.
Status/Rating: Incomplete / Probably low.

Piper knew going out could be dangerous, but she needed to get food, and she really needed to get out of the apartment. She didn't like not living with her sisters, she was glade that Paige found her somewhere to go, but it didn't feel right. She felt like at the very least they should get a big apartment with three four bedrooms so all of the sisters could be together, that'd make a lot more sense to Piper.

Either way she was outside with gloves on her hands and her hands glued to her sides. The last thing she needed was to blow something up and expose herself as a witch... Although would it really matter in this place? It didn't seem like things like that really mattered as much. What was the policy on magic here? What sort of other people were here? How did there magic work. Sure she got some of the basics, but that wasn't making it any better or easier for her to understand all of it. There were so many questions and so many things that she didn't understand. She needed to find something to do with her time, maybe find a job at a restaurant, but that sort of felt like going backwards.

Piper was just turning a corner when she bumped straight into someone. She jumped backwards and felt the fear that she was about to blow something come across her, but instead she managed to not blow anything up. Stay calm, stay collected, stay in control.... She thought to herself a couple of times before managing to speak. "Sorry. I should watch where I'm going."

Morgana was learning how to cook. Slowly and surely. She wasn't a very good cook but it was still relatively capable to be eaten. And she had only almost set her kitchen on fire twice. Which was really a lot better than she thought would have happened. Also the amount of times that she burnt something had diminished considerably since her arrival.

Her mind was focused on quite a few things as she walked from the grocery back towards the complex. It was a long walk and the weather, though improved, was rather abysmal. However, Morgana needed the walk - to clear her mind, for the exercise, just ... because - and she had seen winters much worse than this one back during Camelot. She mightn't have liked them but she was definitely used to them.

Her focus was mostly on Gwen and Arthur. She and Gwen had been spending more time together, but Morgana still felt that they could definitely do with going out and spending some friend time with each other. Perhaps that spa thing that she kept hearing so much about. And Arthur ... Arthur needed to interact with other people. This wasn't healthy for him. And she was actually starting to worry. A world where Morgana spent more time worrying for Arthur (outside of over his immediate death) than she spent bating him was a sad one indeed.

Though she would never admit it to him or to anyone. He was fast becoming one of the most important people in her life. She supposed he had always been. In fact, she knew that that he had always been. But here, with all the threats so frequent and this world still so very new. Morgana recognized that it would break her, and she would break the world in return, if anything happened to either Gwen or Arthur. She had recognized and a part of her had accepted it when she had spoken to that Christy woman. However, it hadn't quite clicked into her mind, with a settled surety until very recently out of the apparent blue.

With a sigh, Morgana ducked her attention to one of the many bags at hand and bumped into someone, "It's alright!" She assured the other woman with a smile. "I wasn't exactly looking where I was going myself." She motioned to her bags.

Piper kept telling herself to keep her cool, for all she knew she'd blow up the poor woman in front of her... But if she was evil would that be such a bad thing? Piper didn't get an evil feeling from her, but lately what did that really mean? She wasn't so sure after everything she'd heard about Billie and her psychotic sister (not speaking or thinking her name helped Piper not to blow things up).

She smiled slightly awkwardly as she glanced down at the food in the grocery bags. "Making sure you got everything?" She asked with an attempt at a smile. "I do that all the time, it always feels like no matter what you do sometimes you just can't get everything you need for a recipe. Although sometimes when people take the last thing that you need, or try to ---" She stopped. "Sorry, you probably didn't need to hear all that." It wasn't any secret to the people that knew Piper that she babbled when she was nervous, and she'd been nervous since she arrived in 2010.
"I hope you managed to get everything for whatever you're making." She said mentally wanting to kick herself in the head, could I be anymore awkward? This just wasn't a good time for Piper.

Awkward. Morgana was completely used to awkward. Not that she ever was herself. Alright, very rarely so. Certainly not if she could help it, sometimes even when she couldn't. Awkward wasn't a state of being that she spent much time in. However, she knew a few people who did. Two to be precise. Morgana doubted that there were two people who did awkward, stuttering, blabbing, ramblingness as well as Gwen and Merlin did. And she meant it with the utmost kindness and fondness. Especially, in relation to Gwen.

Which was rather than raising a brow, well much, or rolling her eyes at the other woman; Morgana gifted Piper with a smile, completely friendly and just as disarming. "It's perfectly alright. I didn't mind hearing it." She assured her, smile growing slightly. "It just so happens that was exactly what I was doing and that very thing happens to me more times then I would like. I'm entirely knew to cooking. And while I'm more than alright with lists and following directions, but I always get this sense that I should have bought more." Morgana explained, figuring sharing a little bit would put the woman more at ease.

"It seems that I do. It'll be just my luck that I read something wrong and I bought the wrong amount. Or the entirely wrong ingredient all together." Not likely, but a little fib never hurt in putting a conversation at ease. Or the person that you were having the conversation with.
