After initially discovering Piper had just gotten her exploding power, the object had been to keep her calm instead of upsetting her more. It had been difficult, and Prue did hate having a job so she couldn't stay with Piper all day. But she would do anything she could for her sister. It was at this time that she was very glad Claire wasn't her boss. In fact, her boss at the auction house here was no where near as overbearing or evil as some of her previous bosses had been. If she kept up her good work, perhaps she could take a couple days off soon to spend it with her sisters, now that they all were here.

Now that she was back from work, Prue needed to go talk to Piper. Thinking Phoebe might want to be there too, though she more wanted her there because she wasn't going to explain things on her own, she texted Phoebe, saying she was going to talk to Piper about everything and if she wanted to be there to meet her at Piper's apartment. Even though she'd been here for a couple months now, she still found it strange not living with her sisters like they did in the manor. Though at least this way, no one could get mad at her for hogging the bathroom in the morning. When she arrived at Piper's door, she knocked on it gently, hoping to not cause her sister to blow the door off. After all, Piper had blown up a bookcase that fell on top of her once when she'd tried to blow up a demon. Prue really didn't want history to repeat itself in this case.

Piper was sitting on the kitchen counter with her hands under her butt, she'd just blown up an orange that she'd been trying to freeze. She wasn't getting a hold of this new power, and she wasn't even sure she wanted it. It was a really dangerous power to have and she could end up vanquishing her sisters! That was the last thing in the world that Piper wanted to do. Hurting people wasn't on her to do list. Being in an apartment and not the manor hadn't been on her to do list either. None of this had been, couldn't she just wake up back home? And what was happening to the time frame back home now that she was here? Would that ruin time? Would it change a lot? Would Leo know where she was? Was another version of her back in the real time? Piper didn't get ask all of those questions when she first saw her sisters, they'd spent more time trying to get her to calm down and stop blowing things up.

She was lost in thought looking out the window when she heard a knock at the door. Piper got up really slowly keeping her hands at her sides, if she didn't let them up maybe she wouldn't blow anything open. Piper walked slowly to the door opening it she felt her heart tense and lighten all at once. "Prue, come in." She said standing back to let her sister in, she put her hand that had opened right back down to her side.

At Piper's invitation, Prue stepped in. She had a sense of anxiety creeping into her with Piper's new power. She really didn't want to be on the receiving end of it again. A glance around the place gave away the remnants of an orange and most likely a few other casualties. She turned back to Piper and normally would have asked how she was, but the answer was a bit obvious to her. "How's your new power coming along?" It would be a starting place at least, but she had been through this with Piper before, just recently before she arrived here. When in doubt, she'd just tie Piper's arms to her sides and be done with it, but that was going a bit drastic.

"I texted Phoebe, telling her I was coming to talk with you. So she might be joining us shortly." She wasn't a mind-reader and she hadn't checked her phone since sending the text, so she was merely assuming Phoebe would come. They always had rallied around each other in the past when things went awry, so she expected nothing would be different about this point in time. Prue seriously hoped Phoebe would get here before Piper started asking too many of the hard questions she knew her sister had. While Prue wouldn't mind answering some questions, the ones about Paige and her death back home were topics she refused to talk about. She had no issues with Paige, she really liked her, but her issue rested with her death back home. She had taken it really hard, was still taking it hard, but in perfect Prue fashion, she was ignoring it. Right now she was focused on Piper and helping her out, and that was all that mattered to her right then.

Piper felt her emotions take over as she lifted up her hands in a panicked sort of fashion a plate by the sink blew up. "Are you kidding me?" She said clapping her hands by her sides, of course these were the times that she hated having powers tied to her emotions. "I can't do anything, you should just lock me in the basement, if there even is a basement here and be done with it." She half snapped.

"Well tell her to wear protective gear, I don't want to accidentally blow up my sisters." She added as she looked around the apartment which wasn't as neat as Piper would typically keep things. It was hard to keep things neat when things kept blowing up! Piper had so many questions, and so many issues that she wanted to talk about, but all she really wanted was to be with her sisters and to feel safe. "Did I ever get control of blowing things up?"

As a plate blew up, Prue jumped a bit. "Okay, all right. Hands down, hands down." Prue understood why Piper had just snapped at her, so she didn't take it personally. "You know that's not the answer, Piper. It takes time to get used to a new power, remember?" It was a standard answer, but it was the best she could do for the moment.

"I don't think you could blow us up even if you tried. Remember you can't freeze us? I would think the same thing applies to your new power." Prue said, using some logic. It may or may not have the desired calming effect, but she was trying. At Piper's question, Prue couldn't exactly answer. Piper had still been in the adjustment stage when she came here. "I think you should ask Phoebe that. You were still adjusting to it when I arrived here. But I'm sure you did. You are strong and smart. Remember it took you a while to get a handle on your freezing power? I'm sure it's the same situation with your blowing up power. Just do your best to stay calm. And keep your hands down."

"Yeah, but this isn't like freezing! I could really hurt someone. I could blow up an innocent person if I'm not careful!" Piper half shrieked as she had to force herself to keep her hands by her side. She normally would have used her hands while talking, but she knew perfectly well how unsafe that could really be. She sighed as Prue mentioned how she couldn't freeze her sisters, so maybe that meant she couldn't blow them up. "I'm not going to test that theory." She said in a clearly slightly annoyed tone. "Okay, I'll ask Phoebe." She said.

"So, what's going on?" She asked working on trying to change the subject from the possibility of what else Piper could blow up, from where she was standing that could be nearly everything. She was hoping that she'd be able to get control of the power and quickly.

Prue eyed her sister, knowing the distress she was in. She'd just gone through this with Piper back home, she could find a way to help her through it again here. "I know it'll annoy you with me and Phoebe saying this, but just relax. Doing your best to stay relaxed is a key to you getting a hold of this power." Being Ms. Fix-It, Prue wanted to just fix everything for Piper right in that moment, but she couldn't, and while that frustrated her, she kept that feeling to herself.

But what she could do was explain why they were here and what was going on. "Here, let's sit down." Nothing she had to immediately say required them to sit, but it would be easier. Especially when she got to the tougher things to explain. Taking Piper's arm gently, she didn't want to accidentally cause her to blow something up, she led her to the couch and pulled her to sit with her. "There's a demon, Lilith, who wants to unleash Lucifer and the biblical apocalypse on Earth. Basically, in order to do so she has to go around breaking seals. I have no idea how many there are, but what she's done with breaking seals causes people from other worlds to be pulled here. But we were pulled from different times in our world. It was May 2001 for me when I showed up here, and for Phoebe it was 2004, I think. Right now it's January 2010." She kept her eyes on Piper and was really wishing Phoebe was here right then. After all, Phoebe was an empath and had a better knack for feeling how Piper was reacting inside. Prue briefly thought that she should hold Piper's hands, just to keep them from moving suddenly.

"I really wish everyone would quit telling me to relax, it's not some light switch I can just turn on and off." Piper could feel herself becoming even more and more annoyed and less and less relaxed. Piper knew that Prue just wanted to be able to make everything okay, put a fix on it all and that was it, but it wasn't that simple, it never was that simple when it came to magic.

Piper let Prue lead her to the living room to sit down, she missed the manor, she missed the furniture that made her feel safe and at home, nothing here did that. Piper knew this wasn't like the other time travels they'd be on. This was more... well not just time travel. "Lucifer..." S he muttered as Prue spoke more. As she told her about the different years and where they were all coming from Piper could feel herself start to panic. "I'm sorry, you're telling me that all of the things we've done... or will do... or whatever didn't help to stop Lucifer?" She said reading a little bit too much into it. "And now we were all taken from different times in our history? Oh and it's 2010, even better." The sarcasm was rich in her tone.
