Who: Virgil and Brynna
What: ice cream times.
When: Wednesday evening
Where: complex then said ice cream.
Warnings: TBA but none likely.
[ooc: If Claudio wants he can notice Virgil leaving the complex with his girl after this and be all 'wut' at it. =p]

Virgil didn't know what to do or how to feel lately. He spent all his time cooped up in his and Richie's apartment, but it wasn't making him feel better. The Darkside Club had messed with his head badly, the Clock King's mind control and brainwashing drugs were only recently flushed out of his system with his recent electricity recharge. But he was still jumpy. Being around crowds made him nervous and uncomfortable so the past few weeks he kept to himself, but he wanted to feel better. Being alone hadn't done that, it only made him lonely. Virgil was the type of person who needed human contact to really be himself. He needed kindness and warmth to show his real colors. He thought he needed isolation, but getting out of his room and walking down the hall to Brynna's room to pick her up alone was helping. Air was good. For someone whose abilities were so closely linked to the sun it should have been obvious, but he didn't know where his head was at the last few days.

He still had nightmares from the club and barely slept so it was really no wonder his mind was so scattered and out of sorts. He tried to sleep but most of the time he just ended up listening to the sounds of Richie snoring and trying to block out the memories of torture and darkness. It may not have been so long for Kansas that he was gone, but for him it'd been three years. He was older and stronger and not nearly as mouthy as he had been when he was younger. Metaphorically he'd learned how to respect a gun no matter which idiot was holding onto it.

He was dressed in his usual hip hop chic style when he arrived at Brynna's door. He still found it odd that she and Dawn were twins. But considering the seals he probably shouldn't have been. Virgil had his dreads tied back in a lose ponytail and a backpack slung over his left shoulder as always. He really needed to find a more effective method of costume carrying, but he looked young enough to pass as a student at least. So it was all good. Knocking on Brynna's door he stood back and waited for the girl to answer.

Brynna had changed out of what she'd worn to go with Claudio and was wearing a long sleeved T-shirt clearly intended for someone much larger than herself jeans and a brightly colored pair of Nikes. When she opened the door and saw how Virgil was dressed she had to laugh at herself. There was no way anyone would mistake the two of the for a couple out on a date. Which was a good thing because as much as she wanted to spend time with Virgil she didn't want Claudio to get the wrong idea.

"Hey Virgil, it's good to see you again," she was surprised by how much older he looked. She knew three years had passed for him but it looked like he'd lived far longer than that. But Brynna knew from experience how life could age you faster than years could.

Looking down as Brynna opened her door, he had to smirk slightly. They were both so different it was hard to imagine anyone making that kind of mistake. "Im glad you're still here. I mean it's not good if you want to be home. But you know what I mean. " Still as awkward with girls as ever. He mentally kicked himself and shook his head with a little bemused look of total exasperation. Girls were never his strong point even when they were just friends like they were. He didn't know if he should hug her or fist bump or what he should do so he went with the first option. It was the sort of hug a sibling might get, or other family. All above the waist.

Virgil was taller than before, a little more built in the muscles, and a whole lot more confident. It showed in everything he did. He mouthed off less, but the cocky look was still all over his face. Probably would always be. "you ready? Cmon. I want to show you something before we go. ". Virgil lead her downstairs and to the back of the complex. He didn't normally show off his abilities, infact they were his best kept secret to date. But he wanted her to know who he really was, all of him. "Would you be totally freaked out if I told you I wasn't completly human?" he asked het after making sure no one else was around. The one thing he'd regretted when he was sent back was not being honest with her.

Brynna laughed at Virgil's question, "You obviously haven't heard me talk much about my world if you had to ask that," she said.

"Where I come from, half of my classmates are half animal and probably a third more are demons or other supernatural beings. I was raised to serve immortal vampire hunters. You're my friend, I don't care who or what you are."

And she honestly didn't. One of her favorite people at school was Duff Portakalian and he was an Arcadian panther.

"Really? Demons and stuff huh?" He frowned a little. "I remember you saying something about vampires. But I might have been a little to freaked out by this place at the time. When I was younger I didn't exactly take change very well. But lately it's everywhere. Nothing in my life the last three years has been normal at all. " He paused and watched her curiously. "When I first showed up I'd never even been away from home, and now I live in San Franscisco. "

It was pretty easy to see where his mind was headed. After all Virgil wasn't exactly Mr.Cool Emotion. When he felt things he could be read like a book on a typical day. "I'm not entirely not human either. I'm a meta human. Richie and I both are actually. ". He added feeling better that she wouldn't freak out at his news. "It kinda pales to some of that stuff you just said, but where I'm from it's pretty fresh. And I put on a mean light show. " He joked with a wink and for his first example he watched her cautiously. "Cover your eyes. This first parts a little bright."

With his hands up he lit the back of the complex with zero effort like a flood light. But in it's wake floating above them was Brynna's name in an extremly controlled electric script. That wasn't all he could do. Following her name he began to show her the ways he could manipulate the lightning like it was an extension of his arm.
