Quinn laughed, more amused than anything else about it. She probably shouldn't have been so entertained by the idea of people, mostly Puck being afraid of crossing her. She'd take it. "Y'know I think I will" she said with a grin looking at the guy again after a moment and squinting slightly. "Do people tend to be afraid to cross you then?" she asked. He'd always seemed nice from the little she knew of him before, friendly, and of course he was making Chilli, and she most definitely approved of that. It was just the way he talked on the boards sometimes. She'd probably be afraid of crossing him herself. Didn't mean he wasn't a nice guy, and kind. She appreciated that about him. Even if he was being blunt with her, she could loose Puck, she could loose him and be left here with her kid and nothing else, or she could go home and leave him here. She didn't think it would bother her.
"Thanks for not sugar coating it. Most people might I guess, but I appreciate it that you didn't. I guess I can just hope it doesn't decide to be that cruel. Do you think...its a person, is it a sentient thing messing with us?" That said though, Quinn was more than happy to take the oppetunity to check for the beans instead of thinking about what she'd just asked, she didn't want to imagine some all powerful something taking her choice away from her and pulling her from her world to another and then putting them back, seperating her from the people she needed around her now that she had no one else. Quinn moved to the pantry and started looking around for the beans hoping they weren't too high up. She didn't do so well with high up lately.
"How do you cope with it, back and forward like that. Do you remember being here the last time?" she asked, finally placing the beans and taking a small tin of them back to the Kitchen to Elliot as she waited on him to respond to her
